INTRODUCTION:                       

                              We have developed Student Feedback System to provide feedback in an easy and quick manner to the college principal and Hod’s. So we call it as Student Staff Feedback System which delivers via the student staff interface as online system which acting as a Service Provider. 

By using this technology, we can make fast feedback about the staff by students on time to head of departments as they referred in online system.

     This project has four kinds of users Student, Staff, Hod’s, and Principal. The student can give feedback in online system provided by college staff. First of staff can prepare questions & add, update these questions to the online system. After that it was viewed by the students and can give feedback about the lecturers.

     This feedback report was checked by the Hod’s. He can view grades and view the grades obtained to the lecturers and give this report to the principal and he give counseling to the college staff.

Abstract:

The application should have a database of questionnaire which will be given to the students after a secured login. A mechanism should be there to add, modify or delete a question to/from the database.The application should evaluate the answers given by the students based on the feedback (which will be given Yes or No).These feedback reports were checked by the hod‟s. He can view overall grades and view the grades obtained to the lecturers and give this report to the principal and he can give counseling to the college staff.

By using this system we make it better and quick way.

This system is generally used by three kinds of users:

Modules:

      1.Student 

           Student can give the feedback about the lecturers on the scale of five. Students can give feedback about the lecturer based on interaction of                      lecturer in the class room with students. According to that, students can give feedback as per the given grades.

  1. Staff  

            The feedback given by the students can be viewed by the staff and improve their performance in teaching and other aspects

  1. Head of departments Principal 

            Finally, report was referred by the principal and give suggestions to lecturers to improve their teaching.

            These are the four modules present in the project so we have developed these things in very easy and clearly understandable way. So, by seen above description the proposed   system having many advantages as compared to the existing system.

 

Existing System :

The Existing system is a not computerized system which is maintained at individual databases i.e in excel sheets or papers, it’s a time delay process. And maintaining all the records in Excel sheets is difficult. If they want any record they have to search all the records. It doesn’t provide multiple user accessibility and also doesn’t have different user privileges. So the system is not accessible for all the students of the college.

Limitations in Existing System :

  • The current system is not completely complete computerized and manual system in entering students and faculty data and handling it.
  • There is no centralized database maintenance
  • There is no easy access to the particular students records and articles
  • The student cannot easily navigate through the database

Proposed System :

The Proposed system is a computerized system but which is maintained at Centralized databases i.e. in automated forms it’s a very fast process. And maintaining all the records in online systems database which makes it very easy to access and retrieve data from the database. If they want any articles they can easily upload and download. It provides multiple user accessibility and also has different user privileges. So the system is accessible for all the customers

Advantages over Existing System

  • It is completely automated system in handling the central database
  • This system provides centralized database maintenance
  • This system provides easy access to the particular customer account or his complete details
  • This system provides customers to easily navigate through the application for more information in a most secure manner.
